2012 Lexus CT 200h adds aggressiveness

Last February at the Chicago Auto Show, Lexus unveiled the Five Axis Project CT, a CT 200h sporting a decidedly more aggressive look compared to the car currently available to consumers. Public reaction probably was very positive, as the Japanese luxury car maker will most likely draw from it to offer a 900-unit F Sport Performance special edition for the 2012 model.

Exterior styling changes include 17-inch wheels with high-gloss finish, a unique grille and a larger rear spoiler. The interior will inherit of black leather-trimmed steering wheel and seats with white perforations, metallic front scuff plates and pedals as well as metallic-finish dashboard trim.

From a mechanical point of view, only the suspension will undergo changes, including an anti-sway bar and recalibrated spring rates, providing the car with more aggressive-driving behavior skills.

The CT 200h F Sport's asking price remains unknown and the manufacturer has not yet released any official images of its special edition. With the auto show season upon us, it is however clear that more information will be coming our way soon.
