Inverness Club, a Donald Ross-designed course which opened in 1903, is proudly hosting its seventh USGA Championship. The Club has hosted four U.S. Opens—1920, 1931, 1957 and 1979— the 2003 U.S. Senior Open and the 1973 U.S. Amateur.
This year, some of the accomplished golfers eligible to compete at the U.S. Senior Open include Tom Watson, Fred Couples, Paul Azinger, Greg Norman, Peter Jacobsen, Corey Pavin, Mark O’Meara, Tom Kite and defending champion, Bernhard Langer.
