Lexus ES iPad App

When it comes to test-drives—for Lexus vehicles or any car—it’s good to remember one thing: You’re the examiner.

In other words, you’re the one giving the test—not your dealer—and you’re the one who decides on the pass, fail, or anything in between. You’ve also got to make sure you’re testing everything you want covered.

So how handy is this? Lexus recently released an iPad app for the 2013 Lexus ES, which, as you’d expect from Lexus, provides a solid interactive overview of the car’s features.

Of course, this is all helpful for general vehicle research, but, this being a mobile version, it’ll especially come in handy to glance at when you’re at the dealership pressing buttons and poking around the model.

There’s even a sort of driver’s view of dashboard features, so you can, in theory, sit in a 2013 ES driver’s seat, iPad in hand, and pull some details on a few things in front of your eyes.

Better yet, before heading out for a test-drive, you’ve got your test material with you to look through before driving—no need to make a mental checklist at home and try to remember everything on the way to the dealership (no iPad-tapping while test-driving allowed though).
