2013 LS—What People Are Saying

Lexus
Okay, so the 2013 Lexus has been out for a month now, which has been plenty of time for the major auto and tech sites to examine it, drive it, and tell us what they think.

Overall—and we admit we’re showcasing the choice passages—the response has been pretty positive:

The Popular Mechanics review: “Short of floating in a sensory-deprivation chamber, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more soothing experience than riding in the updated 2013 Lexus LS 460, the longer-wheelbase LS 460 L, or the hybrid LS 600h L.”

The CNET review: “With this generation of Lexus, the automaker has managed to inject the LS with quite a bit of style and technology, which adds quite a bit to this model’s (and this brand’s) desirability.”

The AutoBlog review: “The freshly sculpted exterior pleases more than just the eyes. Lexus has always been an innovator with regards to vehicle aerodynamics, and the freshened LS continues the trend. By paying attention to the small details, such as underbody air management and small stabilizing fins to control air rushing along each side, the Lexus arrives with a drag coefficient of just .26, making it again one of the slipperiest entries in its segment.”

The AutoGuide review: “Thoroughly reworked, the LS continues to represent the very best the Lexus brand has to offer. Matching, and in many ways besting its German rivals, it’s now packed with more technology, craftsmanship and luxury, while offering improved driving comfort and enjoyment, not to mention a look that the fashion conscious will flock to.”

Of course, the opinions of Lexus drivers and fans are what matter most, so you if you haven’t yet, tell Lexus what you think on Facebook.
