New Cars for 2012: Lexus Full Lineup Info

’13 GS: A new GS will unwrap as a 2013 model with styling based on the LF-Gh concept shown in New York this past April. If Lexus concept cars are indicative of the future (and they usually are), we figure the GS’s basic profile will stay about the same. As the concept is a hybrid, expect a production hybrid along with conventional six- and eight-cylinder options.

CT200h: Lexus’s hybrid hatchback launched this year as a 2012 but receives a new F Sport package with a firmer suspension, 17-inch wheels, and sporty trim inside and out. The F Sport Special Edition gets you all that, plus different wheels, blue seats instead of black, F Sport floor mats, and a Tumi backpack.

LS460/460L: Only 250 copies will be built of the LS Sport Authentic Special Edition (will the badge even fit on the trunk?). This short-wheelbase, rear-drive LS will have 19-inch forged aluminum wheels, summer rubber, Brembo brakes, a sportier suspension tune, some exterior trim changes, sport seats, Obsidian black paint over a black/gray two-tone interior, and a list of luxury amenities. Figure on a mid- to high-$80K price.

RX350: The premium fuel requirement has been dropped, and an appearance pack includes 19-inch “Superchrome” wheels.

ES350: A new Touring Edition sports 17-inch wheels, wood accents, navigation, and heated and ventilated leather seats.

HS250h: This wee hybrid sedan gets a new front bumper and grille, as well as eco-friendly plastics.
